How Do I Change My Password?
You can change your password by following these steps:
- If you're not already logged in, log in with your current password
- Go to your MY ACCOUNT section at the top right of the screen
- Scroll to the bottom of the window - you will see the place to change your password
How Do I Become a Fan?
Since artist/musician-members can become friends with other members, it's not necessary for an artist/musician to become a fan of another member. However, listener-members cannot become friends with artist/musician-members, but they can become fans and therefore get regular updates on what their favourite artists are up to.
Here's how to instruct your non-musician friends to become your fans:
- Have them create a LISTENER membership on NuMuBu by going to the sign-up page and selecting LISTENER from the TYPE OF ACCOUNT drop-down menu.
- Once their membership is activated, have them search for your name in the SEARCH section. They can then click on your name to access your profile.
- They can then click on the BECOME A FAN OF... button under the profile window at the left.
How Do I Add Songs To My Radio?
NuMuBu offers an ADD TO RADIO feature for songs you would like to add to your customizable radio playlist. Here's how it works:
1. Visit one of your favorite artist profiles on NuMuBu
2. Select one of your favorite songs in the artist's MUSIC section
3. Click on the green ADD TO RADIO link.
4. Click on your MY RADIO link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen (you must be logged in to see it). You will then see your selected tune added to your playlist.
How do I invite my contacts to join NuMuBu?
1. Log into your NuMuBu account.
2. Click on the green REFER FRIENDS link at the top-right of the screen.
3. Type in your Hotmail, Yahoo, MSN, Gmail or Lycos email address as well as your password and press LOAD CONTACTS. You will then see a list of all of your email contacts.
4. From the list of your email contacts, select the ones that you want to invite to NuMuBu. Add a personal message if you like.
5. Press the SEND INVITATIONS button.
6. If any of your contacts are already NuMuBu members, you will see a list of them with the option to send friend requests to them. To do so, press the SEND FRIEND REQUESTS button.
How do I create another profile? I would like to have separate profiles for each of the things that I do.
1. Log in to your current NuMuBu account.
2. Click on the little down-facing black arrow that appears next to your profile name as it appears just under the NuMuBu logo at the top-left of the screen.
3. Select "Add another profile" from the drop-down menu.
4. Fill in the form and press "submit".
